2018 Chart Year - 4/7/18 - Week 20/53 - PrinceWhateverer & Jyc Row Hold for Fourth Week, Wasteland Wailers Send New Song to Top 10

The metal/orchestral take on "Open Up Your Eyes" remains safely dominant this week, leading for a fourth total frame. There are some major shifts elsewhere in the zone, however. The biggest is that there's a new runner up: Night Queen pushes 5-2 with a massive spike in views. Jyc Row also lands a new song in the top 5: Starlight Glimmer, the Arcane Mistress, starting at #5 itself. The last big thing is On Our Own pushing 12-10 in its sophomore week: Wastland Wailers produced the track in tribute of their now deceased member Yondy. Find out more about the chart past the break!

2018 Chart Year - 3/24/18 - Week 18/53 - Vylet Pony Tops Chart Thanks to Outside Promo, 4everfreebrony & Jyc Row Debut in Top 10

After a lengthy run on the charts, "In a Rush" by Vylet Pony surges up to the summit thanks to fortuitious circumstance. An animator not from the fandom, LupisVuples, used the song as the soundtrack to a 1 minute dance animation, spurring a big boost in views and likes for the track. With it ascending to the top of the chart on its 16th week, Vylet enters rare company of late toppers:

  • 37 Weeks, "Pegasus Device", SlyphStorm, 2015
  • 25 Weeks, "Egomania", Silva Hound feat. BLACKGRYPH0N, 2017
  • 24 Weeks, "Soldiers of the Night", SlyphStorm, 2014
  • 22 Weeks, "Spectacular (The Spectacle)", PrinceWhateverer, 2016
  • 20 Weeks, "Come Alive", Silva Hound feat. Eurobeat Brony, 2015

Elsewhere in the top 10, there's some notable movement: "Moonbow" by John Kenza, aided by additional promo outside the fandom, hits another peak, up 5-3. "Second Chances" by 4everfreebrony, featuring a litany of guitarists, debuts healthily at #6. "Healing", Jyc Row's latest track from his upcoming EP themed around the 6 pillars, debuts at #9. 2018 Chart Year - 3/17/18 - Week 17/53 - PrinceWhateverer & Jyc Row Number One for Second Week

Open Up Your Eyes' combination metal and orchestral take leads the chart once more, however right below it there's tons of entropy in the top 10. In a Rush, which zoomed to a new peak last week, is up once more 5-2. Could it end up challenging for the top spot? In addition, the launch of Ponies at Dawn: Rebirth sends two songs to the top 10: Night Queen (#4), the sequel song to Sun of the Night, which rebounds 44-8 back into the zone, and Moonbow, up 17-5 in its sophomore week. To provide the cherry to this chaos sundae, Extraction is also back in the top 10 for no discernable reason. Have fun, and check the full chart below the break!
