The Spectacle gets significant boosts in views and thus overall points, though it lacks votes (it needed top 10 placement to qualify, and the 6 votes it received made it just miss):
- Views get a jump to 27,000, up from 22,500 last week.
- Likes hold steady at 450.
- Overall points rise to 8,540, up from 7,370 last week.
Though this week sees two other songs with over 6,000 points (Prototype (VIP), and Getting Stronger), the relative newcomer fends them off with ease.

No. 6, The Siren and the Seamare: This is now Carbon Maestro's biggest hit; he previously reached No. 8 with Golden Age.
No. 9, Diamonds: This song, on its 23rd week, finally returns to the top 10 for the first time since its debut. This is yet again due to a promotion effort for remix albums of Silva Hound's latest two singles with early YouTube releases. This week adds the Synthis remix to the equation, along with the TAPS remix added to tracking last week.
No. 11, The Magic Inside (I Am Just a Pony) (Remix): Though it slips two spots, this remix gets 15 votes this week.
No. 14, The Magic Inside (Remix): Vaulting 28-15, Aurelleah's remix is the second biggest voted song of November, nabbing 25 votes.
No. 18, Galactic Getaway: Though it doesn't debut as large as Without Me, it remains the 4th consecutive top 20 debut from Pink Side of the Moon.
No. 41, Without Me: Speaking of the song, though it continues to drop 36-42, it gets 12 votes this week.
No. 55, The Rocky Pony I Want to Be: Racking up 7 votes (though it misses the official November top 10, which will be revealed later), it recovers 63-56 this week.
No. 60, Peace at Last...: This track notches 11 new votes this week, boosting 66-61.
No. 67, Unleash the Magic: Helmed by Mush and featuring the vocals of FritzyBeat, this track debuts thanks to attention driven through its 7 votes this month.
No. 79, Breaking Bread, Broken Hearts: Off the recent No Horseplay EP, this track rocks 9 new votes and recovers greatly 96-80.
No. 87, Heart of a King: Bringing up 7 votes, this track not only re-enters tracking but also the Trot 100 itself!
No. 89, Night Sky: Dubbed Luna's Song, this track from DJ RedSkY is the second debut thanks to votes, sporting 8 of them.

So, covers, remakes, and parodies can't get on the Trot 100?
ReplyDeleteCorrect. Last year, we had covers of Eminem, Katy Perry, Frozen, and Taylor Swift beginning to monopolize the top 10, which seemed less reflective of community interests but rather general interest due to what they were remaking, and it was also making the top 10 excessively stale.
