- Certain categories of songs such as utilities were deemed ineligible.
- The eligibility of brony pop covers and similar items were reneged.
- Songs with music videos and being nothing but music videos were weighted against.
- The likes metric was added to the chart.
- The tracking week was altered to mirror the Billboard tracking week.
So that my data isn't a garbled mess come year-end, I have begun updating my backlog internally to reflect these changes. Charts from 2/14/15 to 5/30/15 are complete now, along with all charts since because the formula hasn't changed for them. However, due to a lack of like data and records of the raw data, earlier weeks have been taking longer to complete. At this point, I crawl out of the woodwork to announce that the entirety of December is finished! Be aware that recurrency will be a bit out of whack due to the schedule change, the order of the updates and all that stuff, but otherwise, this is a far more accurate perspective on the hits of a particular week, especially due to the retroactive like metric.
Now, note that, due to the additional time it takes to produce webpages with all the pizzazz, these charts will not be updated on their respective pages in the near future. In addition, as this effort continues, normal scheduling of new charts' pages may be delayed. However, they will still be tracked as usual, and any questions on the positions can be asked about on my new twitter account, @Trot100News.
