Getting Stronger Returns to Top for Fourth Week

Baasik, BLACKGRYPH0N, and Michelle Creber return to the top of the Trot 100 with Getting Stronger. In addition, Forest Rain and Eurobeat Brony hit the top 10 with renewed versions of major hits.

Sim Gretina Takes First No. 1

In an extremely busy week for the Trot 100, Sim Gretina gets his first #1 on the chart with his remix of The Pony I Want to Be. It debuts in the top 10 along with 3 other tracks, including songs by Sayonara Maxwell & JoinedTheHerd.

Silva Hound and Eurobeat Brony top Trot 100, 4everfreebrony enters, and Vylet returns

Thanks to a music video teaser, Silva Hound gets his second Trot 100 topper (and Eurobeat Brony his first) with Come Alive. In addition, 4everfreebrony returns to the chart after another lengthy absence.

BG&B and Creber Return to Top for Third Week; Aurelleah and Panic Climb Into Top 10 and General Mumble Debuts

The team of BLACKGRYPH0N, Baasik, & Michelle Creber return to the top of the Trot 100. Meanwhile, we have two new surgers into the top 10, one prompted by the new votes.

Prototype Leads an Eighth Week; Lenich & Kirya debut and BassBeastJD returns

Prototype (VIP) returns to the top spot for its eighth non-consecutive week. In addition, the August vote chamption I Am Just a Pony returns to its peak and Lenich & Kirya hit the top 10 once again with their new cover of Beyond Her Garden.

Creber & Co. Lead a Second Week; Prince Whateverer & Foozogz Debut

Getting Stronger, though in a tighter race than last week, holds onto the top for a second frame. In addition, a 2012 staple comes back remastered and Foozogz debuts a new remix.

December 2014's Reweight and News

As you guys may have noticed, quite a few things have changed mid-year regarding this chart:

• Certain categories of songs such as utilities were deemed ineligible.
• The eligibility of brony pop covers and similar items were reneged.
• Songs with music videos and being nothing but music videos were weighted against.
• The likes metric was added to the chart.
• The tracking week was altered to mirror the Billboard tracking week.

So that my data isn't a garbled mess come year-end, I have begun updating my backlog internally to reflect these changes. Charts from 2/14/15 to 5/30/15 are complete now, along with all charts since because the formula hasn't changed for them. However, due to a lack of like data and records of the raw data, earlier weeks have been taking longer to complete. At this point, I crawl out of the woodwork to announce that the entirety of December is finished! Be aware that recurrency will be a bit out of whack due to the schedule change, the order of the updates and all that stuff, but otherwise, this is a far more accurate perspective on the hits of a particular week, especially due to the retroactive like metric.
