We've got an artist finally getting his first Trot 100 #1! Delta Brony, well known for his eurobeat remixes of songs and his mashups of pony tracks with video game songs, finally lands a mammoth hit with The Spectacle (Remix). What's especially notable about this crowning is that it was not a debut and done deal: It started out two weeks ago at #5, climbed the following week to #4 despite lowering buzz because of the episode wearing off, and now crowns on its third week as we enter the hiatus. 2016 Chart Year - 12/19/15 - Week 3/52 - BLACKGRYPH0N & Michelle Creber Top the End of the Season with a Beginning

So, the season has now concluded, and (possibly?) by coincidence, BLACKGRYPH0N & Michelle Creber (with Baasik on production) have launched a second original track, this one acting as promo for their collaboration album. It's called Equality, and it specifically focuses on the season opener. It launches with 25,750 views and 2,025 likes, crushing the nearest competition by almost 200%. Wanna see more? 2016 Chart Year - 12/12/15 - Week 2/52 - The Magic Inside (I Am Just a Pony) Leads for the First Time Following Episode

So, The Mane Attraction had its first full week of impressions, so can you guess what happened this week on the chart? That's right...we got a second flurry of I'll Fly remixes! Actually, it's what you'd expect: a ton of remixes of The Magic Inside (initially speculated to be called I Am Just a Pony) debut this week and they debut big! The largest is not a debut, however, but the instrumental that was released after the animatic, produced by BassBeastJD. Thanks to 4 versions in total contributing to its points, it gets significant boosts in all of them that propel it to a strong #1 slot! Find out more of the top 10 and other news past the break.

Prototype Leads a Ninth Week in Closing the Chart Year

Thanks to massive rally, Prototype (VIP) once again dominates the Trot 100 for a ninth nonconsecutive week. In addition, Notion gives Glaze a run for his money with the runnerup debut of his latest remix.

Getting Stronger Returns to #1 for Fifth Week

In an extremely busy week for the Trot 100, Sim Gretina gets his first #1 on the chart with his remix of The Pony I Want to Be. It debuts in the top 10 along with 3 other tracks, including songs by Sayonara Maxwell & JoinedTheHerd.

Silva Hound and Eurobeat Brony top Trot 100, 4everfreebrony enters, and Vylet returns

Thanks to a music video teaser, Silva Hound gets his second Trot 100 topper (and Eurobeat Brony his first) with Come Alive. In addition, 4everfreebrony returns to the chart after another lengthy absence.

BG&B and Creber Return to Top for Third Week; Aurelleah and Panic Climb Into Top 10 and General Mumble Debuts

Prototype (VIP) returns to the top spot for its eighth non-consecutive week. In addition, the August vote chamption I Am Just a Pony returns to its peak and Lenich & Kirya hit the top 10 once again with their new cover of Beyond Her Garden.

Creber & Co. Lead a Second Week; Prince Whateverer & Foozogz Debut

Getting Stronger, though in a tighter race than last week, holds onto the top for a second frame. In addition, a 2012 staple comes back remastered and Foozogz debuts a new remix.

December 2014's Reweight and News

As you guys may have noticed, quite a few things have changed mid-year regarding this chart:

• Certain categories of songs such as utilities were deemed ineligible.
• The eligibility of brony pop covers and similar items were reneged.
• Songs with music videos and being nothing but music videos were weighted against.
• The likes metric was added to the chart.
• The tracking week was altered to mirror the Billboard tracking week.

So that my data isn't a garbled mess come year-end, I have begun updating my backlog internally to reflect these changes. Charts from 2/14/15 to 5/30/15 are complete now, along with all charts since because the formula hasn't changed for them. However, due to a lack of like data and records of the raw data, earlier weeks have been taking longer to complete. At this point, I crawl out of the woodwork to announce that the entirety of December is finished! Be aware that recurrency will be a bit out of whack due to the schedule change, the order of the updates and all that stuff, but otherwise, this is a far more accurate perspective on the hits of a particular week, especially due to the retroactive like metric.

This was a busy week for debuts, with 3 launching in the top 5 zone. However, Rio's Ballad remains at the top for a second week.

KP Promotes a Song to the Top

Thanks to the association with ILoveKimPossibleAlot, Rio's Ballad debuts at #1 on the Trot 100. In addition, a new remix of I'll Fly lands in the top 5 while Duelling DAWs and Fly Like You return to the top 10.

Pinkie Rose Tops Trot 100 Amid Multiple Top 10 Debuts

Pinkie Rose, fresh off her win at the June votes, powers on to nab her first #1 with Friendship Through the Ages, beating perennial champ Prototype (VIP). In addition, four songs launch directly into the top 10, including a sophomore appearance of Delta Brony and Pinkie Rose herself!

Prince Whateverer Wins Tight Race and His First #1

Prince Whateverer finally gets his first #1 with brand new track Left Behind. It wins a tight race among perennial hit Prototype (#3) and newcomer Wireframe (#2), all in a margin of 1.9%.

Prototype tops the Trot 100 for a third week by a safe margin. In addition, its closest competition, Strangers, takes a mighty hit, leaving the new runnerup to be last week's debut Your Own Sky.

Strangers leads for a fourth week (or sixth, more on that before the regularly scheduled programming), while DJ Pon-3 lands 2 more songs in the top 10 and Sim Gretina debuts another monster hit remix.

Strangers Returns a Third Week; Eligibility Changes for Midyear

In an effort to prevent total top 10 lockdowns as have been going on for essentially the whole last season, the chart has now partitioned off both pop song covers and utility songs to their own chart. In this move, Strangers returns to #1, 2 songs return to the top 10, and 1 song debuts.

Dark Horse leads a second week; Aviators debuts in the Top 10

EileMonty wins by a safe margin to most songs, but she faces stiff competition from...EileMonty. Dark Horse drops about 71% and Strangers gains by 93%, though the former beats the latter by 34%. In addition, Aviators hits the top 10 with a third representation for his Building Better Worlds album (and fourth on the Trot 100 from the album).

EileMonty continues her chart dominance, taking both the top 2 slots by a landslide and holding 2 more positions in the top 10. New songs from The L-Train (with former #1 artist Vannamelon) and microThunder also land in the top 10.

We have a new #1 on the charts, and for once this season it's not a debut! Strangers, heavily boosted by its new music video, dominates the chart, while new entries from Aviators, Sayonara Maxwell, and animator Ferexes impact. OhPonyBoy also makes a long-delayed return to the top 10.

AnimatedJames and Vannamelon's collab remains at the top of the charts for a second week, though not at the astronomical margin of last week. In addition, "Pegasus Device" makes the top 5 after more than 30 weeks and 3 songs return to the top 10.

AnimatedJames nets his third #1 as a lead artist with "The Real Pink Pony", a collaboration with Vannamelon. In addition, a new metric is added to the chart to help act as surrogate for downloads by being a one-time deal: likes. With this new metric influencing the chart, "No Chance" and "Pegasus Device" return to the top 10 and a new TAPS single debuts in it.

Wild Fire crowns the Trot 100 amid 3 Top 10 debuts

MandoPony and Silva Hound officially nab their first #1 on the Trot 100, as Wild Fire climbs 2-1. The rock-electro collab's crowning heralds in a new month where "Winter" and "Moon Rise" go recurrent and in their place are 3 new songs in the top 10.

AnimatedJames Leads a 6th Week on Newly Revitalized Trot 100

"Winter" leads for a 6th week with losses, while the chart receives a bolster from a compensation for vote points not taken off from June to December.

Beating out "Brony Polka"'s 4 weeks at the top, "Winter" makes the most of its limited time left and joins "I Am a Parasprite" in surging up the top 10 this week.

AnimatedJames Spends a Third Week at #1

Welcome to the new chart site! The Equestrian Trot 100 improves in multiple ways from the Brony Music Billboard: the number of songs, the method of data collection, and also the recurrency and depreciation rules. On every Wednesday, data is collected, and the top 10 shall be announced in a post like this.

The chart has now been running under this methodology for 5 weeks prior to now, so some things have already happened:

• Soldiers of the Night began the chart year at #1 (12/6/14).
• Confrontation made #1 (12/13/14).
• I Am a Parasprite debuted at #1 and OhPonyBoy made a top 10 debut (12/20/14)
• Winter's F***ed Up debuted at #1 and Aviators made a top 10 debut (12/27/14)
• Winter's F***ed Up remained at #1, Wild Fire surged to #2 thanks to the new remix, and Do You Want to See the Moon Rise returned to the top 10. (1/3/14)

This week's big news is that "Winter" holds at #1 for a third week, while Mandopony's megacollaboration Do They Know It's Christmas debuts at #3, We Dreamt Our Dream returns to the top 10, and Squarehead's Under Our Spell remix climbs into the top 10 for the first time. More info past the break!
